Deadly College Murders Wins at IIBA!!!!
I am thrilled to announce that my first novel, Deadly College Murders, which took me five years to write, has won at the International Impact Book Awards. Winning another award surpasses my expectations and stands as the brightest highlight of my career as an author. When I opened the email, my hands were shaking and my stomach dropped with a sudden surge of disbelief and joy. Several people had advised me against submitting my manuscript, but I sent it in anyway, and that decision has made all the difference. To receive yet another message from IIBA congratulating me on winning feels nothing short of amazing. Looking back, I remember how many of my professors tried to diminish my dreams of becoming a writer; still, I never gave up. I chose this path, and I am delighted to share that I am now writing the fifth book in the Hannah Walker Mystery Series, titled Shadows of the Past: Deadly Riddle. In addition, I have learned that I was awarded a Distinguished Author Award for both Deadly College Murders and The Thirteenth Riddle: A Poisoned Silence, an honor that truly validates every late night and hard-fought draft.
Having secured two more consecutive IIBA awards, I am now recognized as an author who exceeds expectations. I want the world to know who Bree Wilson is, and steadily—step by determined step—I am making a name for myself. Next stop: Hollywood.
